Pastor Shahbaz B. was born in Iran into a Muslim family. In 1979, he and his family immigrated to the United States—a new beginning in a new world.

At the age of 18, Shahbaz experienced a powerful conversion that fundamentally changed his life. In his search for forgiveness, he encountered Jesus Christ and became a Christian. This personal experience profoundly shaped him.

With a rich, multicultural background and a burning passion for evangelism, Shahbaz has served the Seventh-day Adventist Church since 1999—as an author, pastor, teacher, and evangelist.

He also founded the mission organization Advent Lighthouse Ministries, of which he is president.

Today, Shahbaz lives with his wife, Sara, on the West Coast of the USA—from where he shares the Gospel with the world.

Advent Lighthouse Ministries (ALM) is a Christian mission organization dedicated to sharing the Gospel and the Three Angels' Messages with Persian-speaking people, particularly in Iran, Afghanistan, Europe, and North America. Its mission is to introduce people from Muslim backgrounds to the Christian message and support them in their faith. ALM supports local staff, establishes house churches ("underground churches"), and provides discipleship and leadership training. Through projects like Project Kourosh (Cyrus), ALM is also active in European cities, including Nuremberg, Gothenburg, and London. In addition to personal pastoral care, the organization utilizes modern media to share education, faith, and hope.
