Inflammation the source of all disease
Lecture by Prof. Dr. Eddie Ramirez
Chronic inflammation is now considered a central factor in many modern lifestyle diseases – from cardiovascular disorders and diabetes to neurodegenerative conditions. In his lecture, Dr. Eddie Ramirez, an internationally recognized physician and scientist, explains how silent inflammations develop, the role that lifestyle and nutrition play, and which strategies can be used to actively counteract them. Participants will receive practical insights for a healthier everyday life and learn why preventing inflammation is crucial for a long and vital life.

Epigenetics-How our choices turn on and off disease genes
Lecture by Prof. Dr. Eddie Ramirez
Our genes do not determine everything – rather, environment and lifestyle decide which genes are activated and which remain silent. This fascinating field of research is called epigenetics. It explains why two people with the same genetic predisposition can nevertheless experience completely different courses of disease.
In this lecture, Dr. Eddie Ramirez, physician and internationally sought-after speaker on lifestyle medicine, will demonstrate how nutrition, exercise, stress, sleep, and other everyday choices influence our genes. Drawing on the latest scientific insights, he shows that through our lifestyle we can actively contribute to switching off disease-related genes and turning on health-promoting ones.
Participants will gain practical insights into how epigenetic knowledge can be applied in daily life and which steps can help significantly reduce the personal risk of many chronic diseases. This evening is designed to inspire participants to take responsibility and to “reprogram” their genetic potential in a positive way.

Keys to preventing dementia
Lecture by Prof. Dr. Eddie Ramirez
Dementia is one of the greatest health challenges of our time. Millions of people worldwide are affected – and the numbers are steadily rising. But modern research shows: we are not helpless in the face of this development. Many risk factors can be positively influenced through targeted lifestyle choices.
In this lecture, Dr. Eddie Ramirez, physician and international expert in lifestyle medicine, explains the mechanisms that contribute to the development of dementia and how nutrition, physical activity, mental stimulation, and social factors play a preventive role. Participants will learn which practical steps everyone can already take today to protect their brain and significantly reduce the risk of cognitive decline.
The goal of the evening: to provide hope and to show ways in which each individual can take action – for a healthy, high-performing brain well into old age.

Stopping the #1 killer of Germans
Lecture by Prof. Dr. Eddie Ramirez
Cardiovascular diseases remain the leading cause of death in Germany. Millions of people suffer from high blood pressure, arteriosclerosis, or heart attacks – often without noticing early warning signs. But the good news is: many of these conditions are preventable.
In his lecture, Dr. Eddie Ramirez, physician and internationally recognized expert in lifestyle medicine, will explain which factors strain the heart and blood vessels, and how nutrition, physical activity, stress management, and other lifestyle choices can significantly lower the risk. He will present the latest scientific findings and share concrete recommendations on how to strengthen the heart and greatly reduce the risk of heart attack or stroke.
Participants will not only gain valuable knowledge but also receive practical everyday tips – to make prevention successful and to actively contribute to a longer, healthier life.
